Next GSL

The Impos gaming integration via Next GSL offers an opportunity to broaden your customer base by providing an all-inclusive loyalty card program that brings additional benefits to both you and your members. Connecting with your gaming platform of choice, this integration seamlessly links the Impos and gaming loyalty databases.

The integration includes the ability for customers to accrue and redeem points at the POS and receive rewards and discounts which are configurable based on the member tier's. This synchronizes with your gaming system to maintain accurate balances and member tier’s. It enhances the overall loyalty experience, making it more convenient and rewarding for your customers while providing you with a means to attract and retain a larger customer base.

Getting up and running 

Once the Next GSL software is integrated by the integrations team, it will be reflected in Impos Front Office.

1. Open “Front Office”.
2. On the main page, you will see Next GSL displayed as one of the available options.

Next GSL will now be accessible to you in “Front Office”, allowing you to utilize its features and functionalities for payments.

 

 

Configuring card types and member tiers

Impos card types (member tiers) can either be set up immediately, or populated on the fly as members scan in at the POS. The card type name should reflect the tier, e.g. “Gold”, “Silver”, “Bronze”.

Discounts and rewards

Discounts and rewards can be activated by members when they identify themselves at the POS. These are configured in Impos Back Office.

1. Open the Membership Module -> Manage Card Types.
2. If any members have been identified at the POS, card types will be shown reflecting the available member tiers. E.g., “Gold,” “Silver,” “Bronze.” Otherwise, card types can be created with the corresponding name.

3.  You can then configure discounts and rewards for the specific tiers.

4. To set a 5% discount for every member in the Gold tier, add a new Points entry with 0 points and discount 5 (%).

5.To give Gold members a $10 deal on every jug, specify a corresponding reward.

 

 

Redeeming winnings in Impos

1. In “Front Office,” click on "Next GSL" to initiate the redemption process.

2.Enter the “member's account number” in the “search tab.”

3.Click on “search”

4. Proceed to select "Request Payment" to proceed with the redemption.

 

 This will initiate the payment process using any accumulated winnings (points or dollars) through “Next GSL.” You can also use this to check the member’s current balance.

 

 

 

Accrual of points and dollar balance:

Customers can accrue points by making purchases with cash or card after identifying themselves by either swiping their member card or relaying their details to the cashier.

1. Identify the customer at the Order Grid. Allow them to scan their member card with an MSR or use a barcode scanner. This will automatically retrieve their details from the gaming platform
   1. a. If they have scanned their card previously, you can ask for their details such as phone number or name.
2. Once you have found the member, click on "Assign" to access their details
3. The members’ details will be shown on the menu page.

 

4. Select "Cash" to indicate the payment method as cash and push the accrual to the gaming platform.

You will be able to see that the member’s balance is immediately updated in the gaming system and reflected when trying to make a redemption.
