With every installation, Impos supplies a Network Pack, consisting of cables, a router and a switch.
This allows us to create a local, locked-down network that can't be interfered with by all of the other internet and network devices in your business (eg office computers, CCTV, music systems). A separate network keeps your Impos system running smoothly, and allows us to diagnose any issues quickly and easily.
Please note that the Impos router does not replace your Internet Service Provider's modem, and we don't provide or manage your internet connection. That said, your ISP modem settings will affect how we set up our network, so if you're changing ISPs, please contact us to let us know!
