Impos 6.59 Release Notes
Key Features
Online Ordering print-by-terminal
Impos now allows integrated applications to target specific terminals and areas for printing kitchen dockets. This is critical for venues with multiple areas such as an upstairs bar, downstairs bar, and outdoor space, to ensure that orders reach the right location.
me&u Connect
An integration with me&u Connect enables Impos to synchronize customer details with an online CRM. From names and emails, to points and rewards, the data is automatically updated in both the Impos membership database and Connect.
Inclusion of sales data enables enhanced insights into customer activity and the opportunity to craft tailored marketing for clients.
Multiple Impos venues can synchronise with the same me&u Connect account, allowing customer information to be shared across locations.
Enhancements
- Added the ability for item countdowns to automatically reset at a scheduled time.
1: Set a remaining Quantity as Normal
2: Set the Default Quantity that you want to reset to
Under POS Settings -> Venue Settings you can set a reset time for those Countdowns in Auto Refresh
All items can be configured to reset to unique amounts individually, however they will reset at the same time.
- Voided payments are now separated from refunds in the cashier report and are reflected in the report with a “Voided Payments” tag.
- Implemented timed toast notifications. A toast notification is a short-lived dialog displayed on the screen, which can be either automatically or manually dismissed (i.e. notifications on your phone).
- Many actions which displayed success dialogs have been moved to toasts to streamline the workflow.
- The Front Office menu grid now supports haptic touch. By touching and holding a menu item for a short time (~1 second), users will be given a command list allowing them to access functions such as Item Info, Modify Price, and Item Countdown.
Notable Interface Changes
- Updated the “From” and “To” date selection in Recall to display a dual date picker. This allows users to select both dates at the same time, rather than updating them independently.
- Updated the Set Menu Design form.
- Added a PriceSet selection dropdown when linking sub-lists.
- This applies a PriceSet override to the sub-list when it is used in the relevant Set Menu rather than everywhere.
- Added a PriceSet selection dropdown when linking sub-lists.
Added a “Copy” button which copies a Set Menu to a new one, including the links to sub-lists and items.
Minor Interface Changes
- Updated the Menu Category window to occupy a 1024x768 space, displaying more columns at once.
- The active sub-panel (item prices, print queues, ingredients) is now retained when saving an item, or navigating to another item in Menu Items.
- The Back Office status bar now shows the display name of the user that is currently logged in.
- Custom URLs will now launch the URL in the operating system’s default browser, removing the legacy custom WebBrowser.
- Updated the title of the Auto Modifier window in Front Office to display the Auto Modifier name in place of generic text.
- Removed the duplicate Impos logo on the customer display screen when no image is displayed.
- Apps now have a clear border around them in the AppPay (PIP) and Gift Card Enquiry dialogs.
- Updated the Integration sub-list in Back Office to categorise integrations by type and sort them alphabetically.
- The “PIN/Reference” field is now hidden on the AppPay dialog if the selected app does not support gift cards.
